SALES MANAGER for Autonomous Mobile Robots

Position Title: Sales Manager
Location: Mequon, WI
Job Type: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Manager is a dynamic hands-on sales position with high growth potential. Responsible for management of a sales team and revenue growth related to new customer opportunities and within existing accounts.  

Responsible for all aspects of development and expansion of the sales team while selling MuL’s line of autonomous robotic products. Also responsible for direct support of strategic partner companies or customers nationally.

Technical knowledge of robotics, automation, warehousing, logistics or material handling industry is a must.  

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and lead a team of sales professionals 
  • Build relationships with key decision makers at strategic target companies.
  • Develop a strategy for distributing leads to the team.
  • Lead meetings, drive agendas, define goals and exceed internal and external timelines.
  • Host virtual product demonstrations and provide technical guidance.
  • Travel to and actively engage with customers and partners across North America.
  • Bring Sales funnel opportunities to fruition and set growth goals for the team.
  • Coordinate with sales team to develop quotations for new opportunities – utilizing pre-defined pricing models, document templates and business marketing materials.
  • Provides technical and/or professional coordination and leadership in the sales process.
  • Work closely with Director of Marketing to develop outbound marketing.
  • Assist in establishing and implementing short- and long-range goals and objectives for growth.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization to ensure efficient operation.
  • Develop systems and maintains records that provide for the proper evaluation, control and documentation of assigned activities; prepares a variety of written correspondence, reports, procedures, directives and other materials.
  • Manage individual monthly & quarterly travel budgets – for business travel and customer support.
  • Update internal CRM database with current activities.
  • Maintain and monitor sales status within supplied tools.
  • Working with the Executive Team to set quarterly and annual sales goals. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires 4 years of sales management experience; or, 7 years of relative experience within the robotics/automation or sales field with some past management responsibilities. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Maintain customer relationship via extreme service and support.
  • Develop sales goals and objectives; creating tools and an action plan to meet and exceed the goals.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communications, telephone skills a must.
  • Knowledge and understanding of using LinkedIn for lead generation/follow up.
  • Skilled presentation abilities and interpersonal relationship development.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Employee development and performance management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, preferably HubSpot.
  • Willingness and ability to learn HubSpot and become an expert in using it.
  • Skill in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment.
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems and procedures.
  • Ability to provide technical coordination and management.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and informative reports, correspondence, and other written materials.
  • Knowledge of the complex sales process involving multiple buying influences.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures.
  • Program planning and implementation skills.
  • Manage multiple tasks, often with competing deadlines.
  • Develop and present effective presentations to individuals and groups.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross functional structure.
